☼ The School Day 
 
Traditional Montessori methods are embraced and combined with modern day activities and projects to give your child the best possible all round learning experience. Daily, there are set times for individual work, group activities and play. 
 
Your child is offered the opportunity to explore both the indoor and specially created outdoor classrooms. Activity play is encouraged throughout the day utilising our large secure playground area. 
 
A computer is located within the classroom and is available your child to develop their dexterity and IT skills. 
 
 
Taking each child as an individual, a strong emphasis is placed on language, reading, writing and arithmetic once the child displays relevant capabilities. Please view our School Curriculum page contained in this website for specific details of the developmental processes. 
 
Termly topics are incorporated into activities with the classroom on a weekly basis. Your child will be given the opportunity to work on a range of diverse projects during their time with us. Previous topics have included wide ranging subjects such as dinosaurs, recycling, endangered species, flags of the world and the solar system. 
 
Separate independent sports based activities activity sessions are available weekly, promoting a fit, healthy and fun learning experience. 
 
The lunchtime session provides a hot meal prepared on the premises daily. We endeavour to meet any specific dietary requirements your child may have for medical or cultural reasons. Snacks and drinks are provided at set times throughout the day. 
Weekly cookery sessions are always a very popular activity was in the classroom, filling the classroom with warm, homely aroma's! 
 
Throughout each day high-value is placed on developing each child's social and interactive skills in parallel with their education needs. 
Children are encouraged to care for their classroom environment and each other at all times, with sharing and tidiness of upmost importance.
